He attended the venerable Hotchkiss boarding school and Yale University where he organized his own band, developing a reputation as a playboy. After leaving school he settled in New Burial: Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, Westchester County, . Peter is the prominent actor in the beginning of the book of Acts, when the gospel was preached “to the Jew first.” After Jerusalem rejected that gospel and the apostle to the Gentiles had been called, Paul becomes the prominent figure in Acts.
